3. Order Fulfillment

  • Vendors must process and ship orders within the agreed timelines.
  • Delays must be communicated promptly to customers via the platform.
  • Packaging must meet BuyKenya.biz standards to ensure safe delivery.

4. Payments & Fees

  • Payments are processed through BuyKenya.biz’s secure system (Pesapal, M-Pesa, cards).
  • Vendors receive payouts after successful delivery and confirmation.
  • Platform service fees and commissions are deducted automatically.

5. Customer Service

  • Vendors must respond to customer inquiries within 24–48 hours.
  • Refunds and returns must follow BuyKenya.biz’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Vendors are expected to maintain professional communication at all times.

6. Compliance & Enforcement

  • Vendors must comply with BuyKenya.biz’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Data Protection Policy.
  • Violations (e.g., selling prohibited items, repeated late deliveries) may result in suspension or permanent removal.
  • BuyKenya.biz reserves the right to audit vendor activities for compliance.

7. Marketing & Promotions

  • Vendors may participate in platform-wide campaigns subject to approval.
  • Unauthorized use of BuyKenya.biz branding or misleading promotions is prohibited.

8. Policy Updates

BuyKenya.biz may update this Vendor Policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Vendor Onboarding Timeline

  1. Step 1: Registration – Create a vendor account on BuyKenya.biz by submitting valid identification and business details.
  2. Step 2: Verification – BuyKenya.biz reviews submitted documents and activates the vendor account upon approval.
  3. Step 3: Store Setup – Vendors customize their store profile, upload a logo, and set contact details.
  4. Step 4: Product Listing – Add products with accurate descriptions, images, and pricing. Ensure compliance with listing rules.
  5. Step 5: Training & Guidelines – Vendors receive access to platform guidelines, best practices, and optional training resources.

  7. Step 7: Payment Release – After successful delivery confirmation, payouts are processed via Pesapal/M-Pesa.
